- Information and communications technology can greatly benefit
both fisheries administrations and fishing communities alike. The Regional Fisheries Livelihoods Programme for South and Southeast Asia (RFLP), funded by Spain and implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, has utilized information and communications equipment in a wide range of initiatives.
